PETG Transparent sheets is a plastic sheet with a good impact resistance and chemical resistance. PETG Transparent is stronger and more impact resistant than acrylic (plexiglass®), can be vacuum formed, is extremely suitable for printing and has as good fire certification as polycarbonate (lexan® / makrolon®). Because PETG forms less toxic smoke than polycarbonate, PETG is the only transparent plastic that is allowed by the fire department at airports. In addition, PETG has a food grade certification, so all PETG materials can come into contact with food products. PETG is an extrusion product and therefore hardly knows any thickness tolerance. PETG is not UV-resistant.
PyraSied has PETG in stock in clear gloss of 2 – 10 mm thickness, in clear satin in 2 and 3 mm thickness and opal in a 3mm thickness.
