PyraSied has transparent acrylic block on stock in thicknesses from 25 mm to 100 mm that we can cut to size for you. The blocks are made of cast acrylic (GS). Acrylic is in the basis 100% colourless, light weight, rigid, practically unbreakable and easy to fabricate. Acrylic is weather proof, UV stable and does not yellow. The surface of the material is glossy.
On this page, you can see the available stock of all our transparent acrylic blocks. The acrylic blocks are on stock in thicknesses from 25 mm to 90 mm. It is possible to cut the blocks to size. You can indicate your measurements in the comment section during ordering. The thicknesses 100, 110, 120, 160 and 180mm are on stock, but these materials can only be ordered per full sheet. Please contact us for more information about this via firstname.lastname@example.org. Block material is standard on stock with a gloss surface.

There are two main types of acrylic, cast and extruded acrylic. An advantage of cast acrylic is that it is easy to produce in small quantities, which offers flexibility. Extruded acrylic has the advantage that it hardly knows any thickness tolerance.
Acrylic is optically more pure than polycarbonate. Polycarbonate, on the other hand, is much more impact-resistant than acrylic, but yellows faster.
