These clear XT anti-reflex acrylic sheets from PyraSied are in stock in 2 and 3 mm. This special anti-reflex acrylic sheet has an anti-reflective surface on one side. This minimizes the reflection of light or sun. This way you will not suffer from light nuisance in situations where the material does not have to reflect.

Furthermore, this sheet offers the same excellent advantages as normal clear extruded acrylic. Acrylic is a special and beautiful material and we want to show our beautiful collection of transparent acrylic sheets (Plexiglass ®) to you and the world! What is so special about this material? It is made of acrylic. Acrylic is known to be 25x stronger than glass and up to three times lighter. In addition, the material is UV resistant and easy to fabricate. Acrylic / Plexiglas is particularly durable due to a very long colourfastness and lifespan.

    Extruded (XT)

The benefits of XT plexiglass is that it hardly knows a thickness tolerance. For applications where the material is in a profile or where a flat surface is required, we recommend extruded acrylic. Because XT acrylic is produced in large quantities, XT is relatively cheaper than GS acrylic sheets.

    Stock transparent acrylic sheets XT

Clear acrylic sheets, also known as clear Plexiglas or Perspex, are on stock in thicknesses varying from 1,5mm up to 20mm. The acrylic can be ordered cut to size via our webshop. We have acrylic block in stock up to 100 mm thick, but this is cast acrylic. In addition, we also have thinner acrylic, precision acrylic Topacryl, this is also cast acrylic.

Environmentally friendly acrylic – Greencast® 100% recycled clear acrylic

PyraSied also offers an environmentally friendly alternative to cast acrylic (GS), namely Greencast® 100% recycled cast acrylic. Greencast® has exactly the same properties as normal cast acrylic, but is the green, circular choice in the acrylic world. Greencast® is offered in transparent in clear and different colours, but also in white, black and opal.

    Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between cast acrylic and extruded acrylic?

There are two main types of acrylic, cast and extruded acrylic. An advantage of cast acrylic is that it is easy to produce in small quantities, which offers flexibility. Extruded acrylic has the advantage that it hardly knows any thickness tolerance.

When do you choose for acrylic and when do you choose for polycarbonate?

Acrylic is optically more pure than polycarbonate. Polycarbonate, on the other hand, is much more impact-resistant than acrylic, but yellows faster.
