Polycarbonate is a clear, transparent plastic sheet with a very high impact resistance. Transparent polycarbonate is 250x stronger than glass in the same thickness. Because of this characteristic is polycarbonate excellent to be used as securityglazing or protection that must be hufterproof, burglary proof and with a high impact resistance. Furthermore, polycarbonate has a fire classification which makes the material to be allowed by the fire department to be used in public spaces (with the exeption of airports, there you can only use PETG).
