    PyraSied is having the largest stock of transparent tubes, round rods and square rods in the Benelux. Transparent round rods can be ordered in extruded (XT) acrylic and cast (GS) acrylic. The extruded transparent round rods can be ordered from us in different diameters per half-length (± 1 meter) and full-length (± 2 meters). Round rods made of acrylic are optically pure, rigid, strong and easy to work with. GS round rods are optically purer than XT and are suitable for optical applications. XT rods, on the other hand, are cheaper but can contain extrusion lines.

    Stock transparent round rod XT acrylic

    Transparent round rods of XT acrylic are standard available in diameters from Ø 10 to 30 mm. If you are looking for larger diameters, you can choose cast acrylic round rods (Ø 10 to 200 mm). You can choose polycarbonate round rods if the material must also be impact resistant. Polycarbonate rods are available in diameters from Ø 10 to 50 mm.

    Applications

    The transparent round rods in extruded acrylic are excellent to be used for decors, displays, machine parts and maquettes for example. Round rods are also often used for applications in the lighting industry. For inspiration, please take a look at our Acrylic Community.
